I'm Charlie, an artist based in Dorset.

For many years, I worked as a food stylist, telling stories through food, beautiful props and photography. But alongside that creative world, I always found myself coming back to painting, constantly inspired by the quiet magic of the countryside.

What began as a personal hobby slowly evolved into something more. Eight years ago I set up a studio in my home and began illustrating, working mostly on commissions. Recently however, I have had a shift of seasons. With an on-going learning in ceramics and a new creative feel, I want to showcase and sell my seasonal collections of original illustrations alongside my new found love of hand-built and illustrated ceramics. Each piece is painted by hand, made with care, and inspired by the natural world just outside my window - garden birds, changing landscapes and the shifting seasons.

I release a handful of new pieces at a time, made slowly and sustainably. From wall-ready plates to fine art prints and originals, I hope my work brings a bit of the wild to your indoors.
